If God isn't real... then why do prayers works 100% during nightmares?

God is REAL! Even in times that you might not feel His presence, He is still there beside you, watching over you, and testing you in some time to know if you really BELIEVE/have FAITH in Him. There are certain times in my life that I felt His far from me but I still Love Him for a lot of reasons, even for the simplest reason that we should thank for -- for still breathing/ for giving us all oxygen to breath. We should never forget that we should THANK Him every day, every moment, every second that we're still alive and for giving us so much blessings in life. And guys, don't ever forget that we're here on earth to SERVE Him coz it's our main purpose for existing here on earth- to serve GOD and not to serve OURSELVES. We are all His disciples - to serve His other children in need. Hope we could do this even in the simplest way we can. I'm doing everything I can as well. God bless! ^_^

Its not prayers that work. It is you calming down and relaxing that puts you to sleep. Prayer just happens to calm you down when you have a nightmare.

It's your faith in God that's making Him real. The stronger your faith in God, the mightier your prayer becomes. Faith is all you need to continue living without worries because God will be there for you.

Good Morning dear Niairen01 , ohhh this is such a fragile subject you've decided to aproach , let me tell you something , i used to be a non-believer , untill the day that i have trully prayed to God , i mean not really prayin ( because i dont know really prayers ) but i have talk to God , it was a day where i really was depressed because some of my problems , and the last resort option that i had at that time left was to try and talk to God , and at the moment i've decided to adress myself to God , when i've spoked to him deep down in my heart i was one hundred pourcent confident that God DOES EXIST , that God DOES LISTEN TO ME , and that God WANTS TO HELP ME , at that moment it was like i already knew that i was talking to Him and that he listens to me !!! Well immediatly after i've finished talking to Him , i had felt soo much reliefed , all the pressure and the depression were gone and hope and happinnes had renter in my heart , i was soo happy for knowing that God had Listen to me . I used to be such a sinner , and i still am , but i do try to change and i do want to change . I am not the type of guy whom goes to church , i am neither the guy that trust priests and i dont trust churches either , i know deep down in my heart that if i ever need to talk to God ; i cann go anytime in my Room , where i am at ease , and i know for sure that God will listen to me , because God doesnt reside in a church , neither it doesnt has messengers ( the Priests ), God only needs my faith to be strong and to DO believe he is there , that he exists and that he is Mercyfull . Well i could writte some more about it , because i was soo touched and i have to say it again , that i used to be an ATHEE , a non believer , but NOT ANYMORE dear friend.
