V-tech learning toys for kids I think those are some of the coolest toys for children and best of all they help kids learn while having fun. Sometimes when I see those commercials for the V-tech toys I think to myself, wow it would have been awesome to have learning toys like that when I was little. come on they teach math, reading, and problem solving. there also fun I think those sort of toys would have definitely helped me as a kid hahaha. Tell me is there anything on the market for kids or adults today that you wish was avilble for you when you were a younger?

Yeah I had flash cards but I found them a bit boring so it was a little dificult to keep my mind focused on those but I know I would have enjoyed those leap frog and V-tech toys, and maybe I would have learned faster, because lets just say school wasn't my strong suite.

Hi apples99, V-tech educational toys have been around for sometime now. My children grew up with them. I have always found them beneficial in helping me teach my children in extra learning skills that they didn't full understand. They are not only educational but entertaining as well. When I was growing up, I only had the teacher's voice and evenings the parents' voice. I surely do wish I had some V-tech educational toys or some other sources such as a computer of tapes that would have help me with extra learning.

Well they didnt have V-tech games, or talking books, and things like that when I was little, at least not as far as I can remember I'm a late 70s early 80s girl so nuh cant remember seeing anything like that on TV back then. Yeah it sure would have been cool to have had those sort of toys back in the day.

Hi, I know, they don't go back far enough for you to have enjoyed them. Lucky children came alone much later.

there is nothing that is out now that i would've wanted,i wish the toys that i had were out now, such as a lo lo ball and the space hoppers, they were so cool, they have them now but they are no way near as good, the lo lo balls were a football with a plastic ring round it that you could jump on,the ones these days are rubbish, and the space hoppers were massive football shaped things with ears on,you held the ears and bounced around on them, these days the toys just are too lazy i think, you don't really have to try and make them work,it just happens

Hiya apples, Would loved to have had those toys too and those Polly Pocket things and the Barbie Dolls the list would never end would it? I liked all my SonĀ“s toys too the He Men and the Skeletor I think I bought them more for me than for them although I never played with them when they were around (grin). But I did spend time rearranging them on the Shelves in the Rooms. When I did have to give them away I really did not want to either. I spent a lot of time building with the Lego too. Who says we are too old to play with Toys then. Still I made do with what I had when I was small and I was quite happy with that I used my imagination a lot too.

Hi there apples99.. Yes I think V tech is great..It is a very good educational toy for kids.. I just wish I had one of those when I was a kid.. I also like Playdoh clay machines.. My daughter was requesting that I buy her the ice cream shoppe and really, I also think it's a nice stuff, and her grandpa, my dad, is buying her that toy.. That playdoh was just one of those toys that I wished I had when I was a kid.. But I can't have it because my mom wouldn't buy me something pricey for a toy.. I also love Barbie doll houses.. And baby alive too.. I promised my kid that if she stayed on top 1 in school until the end of her kindergarten, I will buy her baby alive,..or whatever she would want..

When I was a child, they did not have all these good technology gadgets now a days. I wish I was able to have these gadgets when I was a child but unfortunately I did not, but my kids whenever I have any will be able to enjoy them :) I also wish they had those carts that has a car where you can sit and pretend to drive. I thought that was cute and little carts where you would be able to find at Trader Joes or Henrys where you can push with your parents. I think that's cute :)

While V-Tech is a cool learning tool, in my opinion, it is a leading cause of childhood obesity. Children are spending too much time behind a keyboard and not nearly enough outside getting fresh air and exercise.

The leading cause of childhood obesity is ignorant parents who don't understand how to feed their children a balanced diet, or those who just can't afford healthier foods. I never played outside as a child and I never had weight problems until I developed hormonal disorders and autoimmune diseases in my late teens.

I did have V-tech learning toys when I was a young child and they were some of my favourite things. One was a laptop that had games for different subjects and that was probably my favourite. Another tech-toy I had, but I don't remember if it was V-tech brand, was an interactive talking robot that told stories in a "choose your own adventure" style. I can't remember his name right now, but I was obsessed with him to the point where I wore out the cassettes he ran on. I don't actually envy a lot of children's toys that are around today. I think what I had was better. I think a lot of the "learning" toys don't actually teach critical or independent thinking skills and a lot of parents just make the kids do them out of their own ignorance rather than letting the child develop at their own pace.
