This anime is awesome. It tells the story of Contractors who acquired superpowers due the appearance of a mysterious area called Hell's Gate. Though not that superpowered these contractors kill without guilt and are employed by the most influential organizations. It's like watching X-men where the characters have different powers. The plot is good and the characters are memorable. It's a serious, dark-themed anime and totally not for kids due to high intensity violence and nudity.

I watched this series with my boyfriend (both seasons) and I really liked it! I thought it had a very interesting plot and very cool characters. I definitely recommend it too :)
There's also an OVA, if I'm not mistaken, but we haven't gotten to watching that one yet.

The OVA is set between the plots in season 1 and 2 but it was released in DVD after season 1 ended. It's most of a filler between the two seasons. Yin is very cute when she changed her clothes to a summer outfit. And still they are chased by other contractors.

I've actually finished this one. This is one kick @ss series. Although, it's all blurry in the end. I couldn't understand what they were discussing during the scene where they were talking in the fog.

I love this anime, though I haven't seen the second season. The first one has some of my favorite music too. An anime I'm watching right now, Durarara!! Somehow reminds me of Darker than Black. It just has the same feel and the characters are cool too.
