I have a 3 months old baby who doesn't want to sleep in a conventional position
(lying on his back while being carried). He wants to be carried but with his face down or he sleeps while he sits on my forearm. But in any ways, I still find him cute :D

Just because your baby doesn't like to sleep in the conventional position that doctors recommend doesn't mean that there is anything at all wrong with your son. Both of my children would never sleep on their backs, they wanted to sleep on their belly with their heads turned from the time that they were born. So, because of the fact that that was the way that they were the most comfortable, that is how I allowed them to sleep. They are now almost eight and almost four and there was no ill effects of letting them sleep like that that.

There is nothing abnormal about that. Babies do thing the do just to be comfortable. The more comfortable they are, the more rest you will get. So enjoy all of that while it lasts.

Hi there JK Sophie!
First, congratulations! I think that babies differ in a lot of ways and preferred sleeping position is one of them. I do remember my son wanting to sleep in that position too when he was a few months old. Maybe it is a phase. Or maybe not, my cousin slept like that til she was two. I'm not sure if she still does, though.

All babies seem to have their own favorite positions of comfort. It is strange to see how they will move in their sleep to get back to that position they want. As long as ababy is safe in that position, they should be able to sleep however they choose.
