A friend of mine asked : In your own opinion,do you have to disregard your principles just to make the person you love happy? I answered, YES! without any hesitation because i was thinking, if you love a person you'll do everything, you won't think of your principle nor your pride. But he said, even if it involves your spiritual and social life? hmmm, then I changed my answer into a big "NO!" it's a different story, right?

in the first place, i probably wouldn't totally love a person if we didn't share the same core values and virtues..... so to answer your question it's both a yes and a no....

If there's one constant thing in this world....that would be CHANGE. Everyone has to change for the better at some point in their social, mental, physical, and/or spiritual walks in life. Problems/Conflicts may occur but decisions should be made. But I tell you this. "There are no simple solutions...Only intelligent choices." Whatever principle we are holding on to...if you really love that person, in whatever aspect in life, you should be able to have intelligent choices both in favor of your whole beings as persons who are able to understand the true meaning of changing for the best. Principles are only principles, but when put into trial...it may reflect your whole being. So, whenever you are on the verge of deciding...always choose the good one until the good is better, and the better - best.

It depends on the situation but if the situation is asking you to lower your standards then that's a different story. Most of the time I dont do that cause I also need to make other people understand my principle in life so that they can respect it.

It is easier said than done. Thats why it is said that love is blind. As a kid i used to telll everyone that i will not go against my principles...but all these principles became null and void when i fell in love. I have done a lot of things against my principles, I have broken and hurt a lot of hearts for my love which seemed on the top of the world. But now i have no regrets as i cant change the past. i can just ask GOD to give me the strength to be a better person in future and guide anyone who needs help.

When I was a kid, I used to say "Love is blind" but when I've become mature i've learned that "Love sees." But maybe blind in different aspect. yeah, present and future are important not the past. You ask and it will be given unto you, just stay connected with God. Thanks to you =)
