No, I certainly wouldn't give it up altogether. And if they really cared about me they wouldn't ask me to. We'd establish boundaries, of course, like I would eat meat when they're not around so as not to offend them and meals that we eat together, such as dinner, will be vegetarian and I would support their vegetarian habits. But at the same time they should be able to accept that I don't have a problem eating meat and that I enjoy eating meat and not pressure me to not eat it. I wouldn't be pressuring them to eat it because that is their lifestyle choice, but they would have to understand my choice as well. I actually know a couple that does this. Even though the wife feels that it's wrong to eat meat, she respects the fact that her husband enjoys eating meat and, in return, he eats meats when she's not around and the meals they share are geared towards her vegetarian habits. It works out well and there's not really any animosity or tension in the relationship because of it.

no i would not if my partner was veg then i would still eat meat just not infront of her or when i would be with her as i think that would be unfair on her.
