So Whats With The Old Fogie Action Movies?

There are two movies coming out soon that feature older action stars in a reunion type films. I wonder what is with this old action star films, and I also wonder how good they will be. What do you think? Will you be seeing "Red" or "Expendables" which are the movies I am talking about.

That's quite amusing as I grew up watching the likes of Stallone, Schwarzenegger and Willis during the 80s when action movies were both great and cheesy, so I don't really class them as old fogies. I haven't seen either yet but will be watching "The Expendables" when it comes out on DVD as it sounds right up my street.
The thing is, yes Stallone, Schwarzenegger and Willis may be getting on in years but today's action stars don't have the same charisma as them and so watching these "old fogies" return for an action movie, even if it's just a comedic cameo, sounds great to me, delivering the larger than life machismo which has been missing from movies for a few years.
