i used to be a tv addict like you. before, i'd schedule my day around tv. when there's something on, i wouldn't go out with my friends. especially during season enders. i'd rather miss what's going on. eventually, i sort of regretted it though. i could have done so much more with my life if i wasn't that addicted. but then again, i really liked those shows that i was addicted to. :)

Unfortunately I am the same way! My television is normally on from the time I get home from work until the time I go to bed every single day! And on days that I don't have to work, I usually turn the television on when I wake up and sit on the couch for hours. This is especially true as it gets colder outside. During the summer and early fall, I like to get outside a lot more if at all possible. But when it starts getting cold, I don't like to get out too much.

I think we all have those moments.^_^ With the digitalization of the modern world, it's only natural to find yourself bending to the trends of time, as in surfing the net, playing computer games or watching tv for hours on end.^_^ Ive been to that stage when I couldnt get through to the day without watching at least an hour of tv. I didnt care what was on as long as I was watching tv then its all good. There was also a time when I knew all the show timeslots on all the channels and Id have a "show map" written on a piece of paper. It holds the shows that I would prefer to watch at a specific time and in case of 2 shows being on at the same time, I would know what time it will rerun.LOL
Over time, Ive had my peace with my tv. I would just watch when I know a good show to watch or when I dont have anything better to do. Still, it would be a toss between watching tv or surfing online. It would really just depend on my mood.
I guess its okay to watch tv excessively as long as you didnt have anything important to do(which is always the case, right?). So good luck!

There are some shows that I do enjoy watching. Some I am more addicted to than others, but I might still watch them all the same. Sometimes I might see what's on television, even though there may not be any shows that I enjoy on. Otherwise, if there's nothing very interesting on, I will usually just watch a movie or something that I have on DVD. This is usually what happens.

I have the tv on in my room for about that many hours daily and sometimes fall asleep with it on. I am not watching it for that long though. Probably about six hours is all I really watch. I have gotten used to having it on for the noise and the company. I don't have company over or socialize so the tv is my substitution for that.

I can't imagine watching that much television in one day, If I watch 12 hours of shows, I have used up half of my day, probably sitting in the same chair or couch becoming a couch potato.
I have a friend who is addicted to movies on Netflix; one reason I don't scribe to it is because I know that it is addictive: I have better things and more important things to do with my life than to sit and watch other people, actor's, earn their living by entertaining me. Besides, I am not home long enough to sit still those many hours, I wish I had that kind of time.

i would say that i need at least an hour to watch some programs and that could be any of my favorite programs.i would not watch as much as you-12 to 15 hours is just too much. This is not good you our health plus watching too much programs will not help you to increase the use of the brain as we don't usually think deeply when watching tv.just watch and watch.i will not say it is good being online as both give the disadvantage especially for the eyes.but usually when we are online searching for something means we are using our brain to think and understanding things.except if we are using it to gossiping.that is a disadvantage too of internet that we can't do when watching TV.

I have a television in the computer room. It's on all the time. I don't think watching tv is a bad way to spend time. I can be on the computer or working on a craft at the same time I am listening to the news. I am a news junkie. Like to stay on top of daily local and international news. Am not much into movies since they make me so sleepy I fall asleep before it's over.

I have a few shows that I might say I'm addicted to, but when those shows aren't on, the tv doesn't have to be on.

I am just the opposite. I have no desire whatsoever to even turn the television on. Where I live we have to pay for the cable whether we watch it or not, and so I do pay the bill every month, but have not watched anything in over a year. It just does not interest me to be on the receiving end of so-called entertainment.

As far as I am concerned, When I was at home, I willl just prefer to stay in bed and watch Tv there to enjoy my life several years gao. But now I have my own computer, which can be a better taste to me now. So I prefer to sit in front of my computer for hours without feeling any tiredness in my mind.Have a nice day!
