With the recent 4-day visit to the UK, Pope Benedict XVI has shown that even at 83, he has the stamina and fortitude to travel and speak to the people.
1995 was the last year the Philippines had a Papal visit diba?
Why doesn't the Vatican promote a global "healing" tour?

The Vatican probably does not think that we need a papal visit since we are already a largely Catholic country. I think there are other countries that they want to reach to truly live out their mission. I would appreciate a visit thought from the pope.

I see no reason why the pope would avoid the Philippines. In my opinion, The philippines is special to him since it is the only christian nation in Asia. The main reason i can think of why he don't focus his attention here is he has other concerns to take care of. the number of catholics even in europe is shrinking, to think that that's where the vatican is located.
