Homework for students

I don't agree with the idea. I feel that homework is an integral part of the education process and it helps students retain information outside of class. I also feel that homework on a regular basis helps students develop better study skills. Whether an individual student wants to finish their weekend homework on Friday, Sunday or do it in parts throughout the weekend should be up to them, but I don't think teachers should have to stop handing their students weekend work.
