I have a lot of junks in my home. I am a very sentimental person and I keep a lot of stuff. My college notes from more than ten years ago are still in tact. I can still see some notebooks from high school. Gifts from friends are important to me even if i cannot use them anymore. I am an environmentalist, too, that's why i hate throwing away stuff. I always have the hope that I can fix damaged objects but I never had the time to do so. I have a lot of papers. I keep even small receipts so that I can use the back side for scratch. hehehe.

No, I try to throw out junk as soon as I discover it is indeed junk. So I don't really have it. I also moved 6 months ago and then I threw out even more. Moving is really a great way to get rid of all that junk, for those who want to do it!

You're right. In my case, the last time we moved was four years ago. And even though we moved then, I still did not let go of my precious college notes. hehehe.

You can sell them if you are not the sentimental type. But it's hard to let go of those stuff if each of them reminds you of a special moment in your life.

Lots and lots of it. My parents keep saving the old stuffs. Sofa, table, my elementary book (i'm in college now), and many others. It makes our small house looks even smaller. Maybe because its been soo many that makes it hard to throw it away.

Oldies are really like that. hehehe. My in-law's house is small, too, and full of junks. I wonder if I could just remove all the junks to make it look more spacious. She has too many of the unnecessary stuff. hehehe.

Hi,
I have to agree with you on this one. I have a lot of junk as well. In my household it is hard throwing away stuff because when we attempt to throw the stuff away- we always will give a reason on why it is useful and that we will use it somehow... which piles up and collects dust.

I try my best not to buy on impulse. Sometimes there are so many great stuff in the department store that you want to buy everything. My policy now is "if it still works or something else in the house can be used an as alternative, then don't buy a replacement." However, it is still hard letting go of things that are close to your heart.
