Its sad to see all the merciless killings that happened in my country. http://www.nst.com.my/nst/articles/4wavs/Article/
Is wealth really that important that human life can be killed just to achieve one's goal? I cannot think of any valid reasons for all the killings....

It's greed my friend. Unfortunately, some people are consumed by it. They are materialistic and there's something wrong with their morals and values. We can't erradicate these people from the face of the Earth. But we can pray that people are protected from the evil works of these greedy people. We can also pray that these people turn from their evil ways. But if they don't, rest assured that someday, they will get what they deserve.

Desperation is a very horrifying thing, is it not. Actually, there are a couple of reasons, from both ends of the spectrum. There are people that are so worse off, so far from getting on the right track, that there is something that warps there mind, causing them to kill people for money. It is not the right thing, but losing everything does some weird things to the mind of a person and thus causes them to take the ultimate step. It is a horrifying situation to say the very least.
Then there are those people who just like killing. I think that if no one is paying them, then there is a chance that they would do it anyway for fun. In many ways, that is more horrifying than doing it for money. At least there is a reason, no matter how twisted. Still, if they can make it into a job, then it is so much the better. Still, desperation and sometimes enjoyment, those can be some terrifying, twisted reasons behind killing for hire.
