Too much coffee makes me...

When I was in college I used to drink coffee twice a day. I didn't feel anything odd during those years but when I started working and was in a graveyard shift, my coffee consumption was 3-4 cups daily. OF course I needed coffee to keep me awake but after many months of working at night, coffee doesn't keep me awake at all. So I had drank those caffeine rich energy drinks and I managed to stay awake during my night shifts.
One night I suddenly felt dizzy, I had tunnel vision and my heart was pounding like a rocker beating his drums. I felt terribly nervous and I got scared of nothing. I knew it was bad. I had too much coffee and energy drink and so I suffered from severe nervousness. It feels like I am going to panic anytime but I managed to fight it anyway. The palpitations where so annoying and my mind is racing ahead of me that sometimes I can't focus on what I'm doing. So I decided to stop consuming coffee and after a few months I somehow feel normal again.
I admit that I am addicted to coffee and the smell of it wants me to drink a cup or two. But I don't want to feel that insane side effects again so I had to practice some self-control.
