How do you conceptualize a business?
It is a lifelong dream of mine to have my own business. But I don't know how to focus myself and choose from all of the things which interest me. Where should I start? How do you start a business? Please help me :)

Start by listing down the things that you are interested in doing. After which list down the resources that you already have available (it is never good to start a business by loaning money). Then you take it from there. Think of a concept on how to market it and prepare a target market.

I learn one truth about business which will make us work towards profitting. Never fall in love with your business, even though it is the best, at least to you. Always build it up and get to sell it at a great premium.
Most businesses last one generation or two. Therefore I fee it would be better to be able to sell it.

It's nice to hear someone is desiring to start his own business. If you are planning to start your own business, I suggest don't focus too much on your dream business. Although it is advisable to start a business that interests you more, and a business where you are talented with, but times are changing. Gone are the days when the dictator of business trends are the owners of the businesses. Now, the dictators are the consumers, or the market. We only deliver what they want. We don't create what they don't want or need. A business will not succeed if you offer a product or service that nobody wants/needs.
So, the first rule in successful entrepreneurship is: Find a gap in the market then fill it. When you buy a certain product for your own personal use and you are not satisfied by the performance of that product, find out if you can improve or innovate the product or service that failed you. If you can think of an idea on how to make things better, then build a business around it. Let's say, you bought a pair of shoes that hurts you when wear them, think of "How can I make a better pair of shoes? How can I improve this?"
Today's business is market-driven. We only deliver what the market is asking. If you can give what they want or what they really need, your business will prosper!

Well, first of all you need to choose one idea, and not more. There is no way around that, I am afraid. I would recommend that you choose the one that interests you the most, since that is usually the best thing to do, you will be working with the business for a long time after all.
Once you have decided on an idea, check if there is a need for it where you want to have it. If people aren't interested in what you have to offer, you will not be successful, no matter how much you like the idea.
If you see that you first idea does not have a market, move on to your second most liked idea, and so on...
