Do you wear sunglasses to protect your eyes?

Yes of course but also to look cool. Lets be honest we dont just wear them because they protect our eyes. Thats the main point yes, But mainly we pick a pair depending on there looks.

It is good to here this from you. I dont have the habbit of using sun glass. May be i should start using it more.

I actually rarely wear sunglasses even though I know that I should. You see, I'm near-sighted and because of that I have to wear corrective glasses. It is all that I can afford to have the glasses to correct my sight in normal light, I really can't afford to get a pair of corrective sunglasses as well. There are times when I'm not driving that I will wear a pair of non-prescription sunglasses, but when I know that I am going to be driving, I have to have my prescription glasses on because I have a restriction on my driver's license.

wow,you like those of expensive ray bands huh? nice one! well,i am not that big fan of sunglasses,if i happen to have one,i can say it is not branded or if it is,it's not that expensive.and i just use it when it is really hot,nevertheless,you can always see me wearing that too often. i recognized some people who used that just because of trend.not because of protection from sunlight.

yes i do wear sunglasses because my eyes now are very sensitive to light,sunlight and even on computers and tv.I need to wear sunglasses when going out if its very shiny and also it gives me cool look too especially if im in a hurry and no time for make up.

I don't wear sunglasses as I like to look at the world in full light, really feel like I'm missing out on something when I do where the once in a while (usually because I do think they can look cool. Not a massive fan of those glasses with no lenses but lines of plastic going across instead? People where them to raves and clubs if you can't picture what I mean.

I seldom wear sunglasses because I wear health glasses -3,5 so it is quite a lot. However, I when I stay in the sun on the beach I usually do not wear sunglasses because I see nothing :)

Hi santos, I use sunglasses most of the times when I go out in the sun.It definitely helps in protecting our eyes.It is always better to use good quality glasses instead of cheap ones , and one should but sunglasses after testing it properly for any defects etc; - all the best and happy mylotting

Hi, In my whole life, I never put on sunglasses be it,the sun is so bright outside and I was driving a car. I have been putting on spectacles when I was young. I ever have a spectacle which can attach another layer of sunglasses on,but then it was bit old fashioned and I have change to new spectacle for my new look. I just make sure don't look directly into the sun,therefore it may not really bring harm to my eyes.

Yes, this have been bailed out by scientific findings. For me, I have yet to wear them. My last check up in hospital tells me that all of us will eventually have cataracts. anyway, I agree with you-buy the better shades!

Good day to you santosmarichris, Before, I used to wear sunglasses to protect my eyes from the sun rays. However, when my vision become weak, it is very seldom that I used sunglasses. Until I decided to get another type of eyeglass. This eyeglass becomes dim when it detects sunlight then it turns again into a normal eyeglass when there is no more sunlight or if you are entering a room. This type of eyeglass is called photochromatic eyeglass.

I know it's important to protect our eyes, specially for eyes like mine that are so tiny XD but I really dislike wearing glasses __

Yes I do wear sunglasses when I go out especially when the sun's scorching hot. I knew that the sun's ray can cause great damage to the eyes. I prefer those that fit and looks good to my face. I don't care if it's expensive or cheap, what matters most is it's beneficial effect to the eyes.

in india normally hot climate. so we have to wear sunglasses for safety of our eyes.

at all times in florida, polaroid lenses for protection and mainly fishing. and if you want to know if a lens is polaroid or not put the polaroid lens against another polaroid lens and it will black out, if it;s not polaroid you'll be able to see thru the two lenses.

yes i do. specially when i ran errands using my bicycle. the heat makes me feel dizzy and as you know here in the phillipines its is always summer all year round. this protects my eyes so i wont get blinded when sun strikes on other vehicles and so that i wont feel dizzy. my sunglasses are dickies and its not that expensive but it does a big help against the sun.

Yes I do. I do wear sunglasses as a protection against the UV rays. Prevention is better than cure, the least I'm doing something. It's scary to think that all these ill-effects are just cumulative and that one day it might just manifest itself big and destructive.

No I usually don't wear sunglasses while going because I don't know I just feel awkward wearing one. I don't stay long outside anyway so that's another reason why I don't bother with sunglasses.
