I'm just intrigued of what you all will come up to, lol. For me, I'd probably buy some condo unit so that I can have it rented out or I'll open a pizza place, haha. That will be cool. How about you, what business will you open?

If I was given a large amount of money then I would open an ice cream parlor. Ice cream is my favorite treat and I think a lot of other people love it too so I would love to share the joy with everyone. Actually, I would love to make the ice cream myself with real fruits. Maybe a banana flavor, a strawberry flavor, a lychee flavor to begin with and if people like it, I would add more flavors. Thanks for the fun thought.

What is lychee. I have never heard of it. I would also like to open an ice cream shop. I love ice cream, I think that everyone does.

I would love to run an educational business where parents who are too busy to teach their children important skills like how to read and count (before they go to school) can send their children to get the good head start they deserve. I would make a sliding fee scale so that people who are struggling will have an opportunity for their children to learn and get afterschool help, as well.

I thought of this as well, but my community is really good about afterschool programs. The local church has one, the YMCA offers one, and once a week, for community service, high schoolers stay after school to help tutor kids in math in the buildings. I have done some tutoring on the side.

I wanted to put up an internet cafe or a computer shop. I love working on computers. I know how to repair computers and laptops too. My friends are always getting my service for free so I wonder if I have a computer shop biz, they will understand that it's business and I have to charge them a fee. LOL!

If I were given a large amount of money to open a business I would probably have an electronics store.I would love to own a big box store as they are likely to generate a large income compared to smaller electronics stores.I would have a staff that would be fully trained to assist customers and to be able to answer any questions that a potenital customer would have to ask.I would manage the money well and ensure the success in the business.

I would open a play center. It would have indoor mini golf, inflatable jumping things, tubes and ball pits, and an arcade. My small town does not have anything fun except the bowling alley and movie theater for kids to do. therefore, kids are getting themselves in trouble. I would open it up for school field trips. offer discounts for good grades as an incentive for kids to do well in school.

I would start my own newspaper. I owned a small newspaper for a year but was unable to keep it going due to finances. So if I were to get a large amount of money I would definitely start a new paper in my community. I would also write a book and have it published.

Well, if that is really a big amount of money, I'm going to buy a good commercial space and build 4 -storey building. I'll have spaces rented for other businesses but I'll occupy one space and open a restaurant.

I would love to open a fish farm where people could spend their time fishing and to relax with friends as well as their families. Probably once in a while there would be a fishing competition where the winners are decided by the weight of their catch.

I've always wanted to have a grocery business. But my dream business is to have a beach resort. Buying condo and have it rented is a good idea.

maybe expand on the business we currently have. there are a lot of branches of business that can grow with events management. maybe i can have my own function hall or hotel someday. haha ambitious but anyway, it can happen just be positive :) for now, i want to start a catering business or a restaurant. i think it's good because no matter how the economy would be, everybody eats. demand for food never decreases, just make sure that target markets are attainable. also, restaurants rarely have accounts receivable because we pay as we eat. money invested can sometimes grow a hundred percent.

Hi santosmarichris, make sure that to get a condo situated or near to downtown areas. Or it's located at hot tourist sites. I bet this surely will have more tenants and get more superior rental I have great interest in investment of stock. Hoping that the big amount of money given would help me to get ample of income from the stock market Of course there are still lots to learn relevant to stock investment. It's a high risk place to invest in this market and the money will be gone one lump sum completely if I don't keep my eyes open...sad...lol.... Happy posting

In light of the fact that I have a daughter that is very gifted, I would probably try to find the space to open a private school for gifted children. The reason that I would choose this route is because of the fact that there simply aren't enough options in our community for gifted children, and it is something that there really is a need for. I wouldn't want to get rich but to help those special children.

I would probably open a custom hot rod or motorcycle shop because that is something I really enjoy. Especially if I didn't have to worry too much about the business having to make a lot of money right away. I've also thought about easy businesses to run like a laundry-mat or one with minimal work and overhead involved like a self-storage place. If the amount of money given to me was large enough, I would think seriously about a known franchise like McDonald's or Wendy's. Those businesses are pretty much fool proof since so much is provided by the company, including market research, training, supplies, etc. All you really need to do is show up with the start up cash and you can have a money making business. There are a lot of choices out there. I guess it might even be a little hard to choose one.

If I had a huge amount of money, I would open up an online tutoring business. I used to work for an online tutoring company and I know those things I would change.

definitely in the food industry or i'll just buy a lot and build a condominium where the rooms are rented. i will buy the lot which is near offices, schools and call centers. monthly rentals will definitely bring the money in. besides there's no shortage in employees or students so it will be a hit!!!
