presently i'm an accountant and working with numbers can get really tiring besides the fact that it can get really boring. if i have the chance to do another job, i want to be a broadcast journalist, like tv personalities who do documentaries or delivers news. i think that would be a lot of fun while gaining knowledge. how about you?

Broadcast Journalist and TV personalities you are able to do it by what you having now. You were studying so hard to gain that paper and you were saying you are boring? Oh my...so, do you make the first move? Quite interesting topic and I try to dig more information from a professional. Happy Mylotting.

I didn't spill the secret, you did . Let see your profile...wow! you are just 25 years young and you are half way there (38) to your accounting career. And you want to give up easily? Well, I did found my niche that is also some part and not the fullest too.

not that i gave up. just sharing my sentiments that it's tad boring, that's all.hehe. i guess everybody feels that too way although not as much as i do. and about me being 25 yrs young, i'm still kind of lost with my career; i think i still haven't gotten my niche. good for you that you already have. enjoy! :)

hahaha so you spilled the secret of accountants uh. well for some parts, we sign but it took me some time before i got into that level. years of combined sleepless nights of studying and tedious work with numbers were all i had to endure before it all paid off well. but it's not all about getting paid good; it's more of the satisfaction you get out of doing what we love best. on my part, communications is very innate in me so i know if i ever got myself into journalism or any job of that sort, i would really be pouring my heart and life into it. i hope you find your niche too. :)

My dream has always been to be a writer since I was a child and I have been able to do that thanks to my husband who gave me the time and space to follow my passion. I love what I do but the money isn’t great so I have another dream and that is to open a cattery which is like a hotel for cats. We have a few in my city where people can leave their beloved kitties while they go away. I know exactly what I want to do; I am just lacking the funds and the location right now! It’s a dream...

wow!! if i could really have a choice as to what i do, i wish i could be paid by doing travel shows - i would really want to be traveling for free, traveling to different places and then be paid for it. it would really be an enjoyment to do such works!! :D

how'dy nikramos! i graduated with the degree of BS Accountancy but i now work as a human resource manager. I had grown tired of working with numbers thus the shift to HR work. in a way i like what i'm doing but it has gotten tiresome lately. Anyway, i know that every job has two faces and we must be ready at all times to hurdle the difficulties which may come our way. anyway, my secret wish before is to be a performing artist. why? well, for one, it would be great to be doing something you would really love to while being adored and admired by fans and followers. Besides, the financial rewards of doing such things are far much more larger than what we get paid for doing works which are not only boring sometimes but stressful too.

you got that boring and stressful part right! i could just imagine your eagerness to do what you want and it will come out really good specially if you do it with all your heart. the best part of it, like you said, admiration from people. and i imagine feeling thrilled when you do all the glitzy part of being in the limelight. oh well, dream on :)

that can be really fulfilling. being able to help the sick without asking for anything. people will remember you more for your kind acts and i understand that feeling the warmth and happiness of the people you were able to help is more than enough to get you continuing to do this noble deed. in the end, it's not all money that matters :)

I pretty like what i'm currently doing which is singing. But if i'd choose another job i would like to have my own building project and draw sketches of it's interior. I'd like to be in the interior designing field. ever since i'm young i love to draw sketches of different things and i think it would really be a great venture for me to design my own house, the kitchen the rooms and every little details of it.

i want to do singing too :) i envy how singers can show so much emotion through their songs. i can just feel the passion and i imagine myself doing that too- but i really can't hehe. i think it feels liberating to use singing as a channel to let go of kept feelings.

I would love to own my pub or restaurant. Living the dream, it would be perfect because I really like giving 100% when it comes to customers and in today's world places like this are disappearing and in their place you find faceless corporation with people who seem to care less and less. Maybe something between the two, as I wouldn't want it to be just one of the two because both bring in a steady source of income. That's what I would like to do, if I could do that then something within the football world. (P.E Teacher possibly)

Job I want? Actually I'm already doing it right now :) I work as a programmer and as Java trainer. Since I work in Information Technology (IT) I don't get bored since from time to time we have to catch up with the new knowledge about IT.

I would love being a popular and famous singer. The songs sung by the reputed and well known singers always live even after their demise .Songs have the effect of soothing us when we are depressed and bring us real happiness. The melodies make us forget our worries and we just get immersed in them .So I would love to be a singer and bring joy to everyone with a melliflous voice.

Hi,nikramos! I am still a college student.Sophomore.My major is English. And one year later I have to choose which direction I wanna take,to study finance or to study translation. They say if you choose to study finance, then you will get more opportunities to find a job after you graduate, and if you are good enough, you can be enrolled in banks and make a lot of money. And if you study translation, then you probably have to be enrolled as a postgraduate student since the university we are in is not very good at this area.So I'm still wondering.I'm not really interested in finance and I want to study languages a little deeper. But my parents are very concerned with my future career. And I don't know if I choose to learn translation,I can be someone excellent at it. If I could do a job that I really want,I would like to be a freelancer since I love travelling and I want to do my job wherever I want.If this can't be realized, then I would like to be a translator. Good luck to both of us. Have a nice day!

hi babyanna! you have the same interests as mine. i think you can do both :) finance and accounting jobs can be really boring but this is the type of industry that never runs out of need for. although this isn't what i initially want to take up in college, my parents explained that all businesses do accounting, so i was convinced to pursue it. plus, it pays good. on the other hand, you can also do the freelance translating on your free time. there are a lot of part time translation jobs online or foreign people who hire tutors of foreign language. you can do that as a part time job while studying. you know what i do on my free time? i try to study spanish, french, and italian. although there's too much to learn, i still try to. i just love languages a lot! and having English as your base language in learning them is an advantage. there are a lot of interactive language learning sites and you can also find very good resources to learn. if you want some, you can pm me so i can email you some of mine. goodluck! :)

For around 30 years, I have been a therapist and before that, in my youth I was a professional musician. I must say that I loved both careers very much as I love both music and helping others. I have now gone into semi-retirement, but I don't think I will every stopping working completely. _Derek

I would be perfectly happy to stay home and care for my family. If I was good enough at singing then I would love to do that. The trouble is that I have learned over the many years of my life that doing something you love as a job can destroy your love of it. Anything can get boring when you have to do it all the time. For me it would have to be a part time job as I would want lots of time to explore all my other interests. I would also want to be able to take time off whenever I needed it to relax and that is something you just do not have when you work for someone else.

I would write mystery novels but what's stopping both of us from doing exactly what we want to do? I worked in finance for most of my life and I can relate to the boredom.

When I was in college I work as local radio reporter and I love it because it is my dream then when I was a little boy. But when I am stay longer with the jobs, being a reporter. I discover that most of our fellow reporters accept something to politician and after all they commented on that politician or government official to ask for more. I leave radio reporting and being a columnist of a local news paper circulating in a local dialect in the province. But I see some anomalies also and never to reveal it in public because the pressure of my own publisher. That time I leave my dream to be reporter and a radio commentator. I don't like those actions implying my fellow media... Now, I am a computer technician and love this jobs... Have a great day!
