New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs threw his helmet 10 rows deep into the stands at Lucas Oil Field on Sunday night during his team's blowout loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The errant helmet didn't injure any fans, but did cause a commotion in the stands when the fas who retrieved it refused to hand it back to colt officials. According to NBC'S Cris Collinsworth, someone associated with the Colts eventually got it back by ripping the piece of equipment out of their hands. I think this was kind of funny, what do you think?

i know this is late, but i really think this was taken out of proporton. He wasnt actually throwing it into the stands, but he was throwing it at the bench and it slipped out of his hand. It wasnt smart either way but it isnt like he did it intentionally.

First off when I heard this I could not believe Jacobs helmet bounced that high in the stands! then I could not believe the fan who ended up with it didn't want to give it back! Both moves where dumb! I am sure Jacobs will be finded by the NFL or the Gaints for his really stupid move which he did because he was pissed off! With the fan,I don't know.It hard to say if the NFL or the Colts will or did anything! Did that fan really believe he could keep th helmet and walk out of Lucus Oil Stadium with it? What was he thinking? Yikes! What a mess and it all thanks to a angry Brandon Jacobs!
