For those who have their own swimming pool at home....
1. How big is it?
2. How do you maintain the swimming pool, the water and its cleanliness?
3. How much did you spent for your swimming pool?
4. How did you learn swimming?
5. Are you always using your own swimming pool?
6. What are the advantages and disadvantages of having your own swimming pool?
7. Can you post a picture of your own swimming pool?
If I would be rich someday I really wish to have my own swimming pool as big as the image that you can see below. But of course I want it to be look like olympic size swimming pool or the rectangle shape so that I could totally do an exercise routine of different strokes. I don't want to have pool for the sake of having it and just for fun. I want to have it so that I could do the routine.

I also want to have our own swimming pool here. And to earn extra money i will allow anybody to use it but they will pay me.
I want a unique swimming pool with foot bridge on the center.
I will set an once a month party on my house and have a free swimming. Its a very nice idea. But i know we have to spent much on having it.
But that's is also my problem. I cant swim that much.

I could imagine what you are saying it is like a resort That could be more nice if you can do that at Laguna especially in Los BaƱos. But of course you can still do that here in Manila as well. If I am going to do that here in Pasay City it would be separate to my house. I mean I don't want to allow strangers that will swim inside my house or even compound. Maybe I could buy a house anywhere in village though it would be still different if I will use that for my investment. If I am going to do that I have an idea that I must franchise the Lozada swimming lesson that is I think credited from Milo so that I would invest as well. I am not much particular with the shape of the swimming pool honestly I don't like a pool that has curve style but then the rectangle one could be better so that I would use that as an exercise. I don't want my pool to be like a gimmick place that people will just stay on it.

I don't know if I would enjoy the small swimming pool but then as long as I could do the other exercises I am satisfied with it. I have the right to demand for a pool since I've already studied lesson on how to swim. If I don't know how to swim then of course I wouldn't wish to have one especially if that is only for display to show off with other people especially with your friends.

There is a river and sea very near to my home. So I don't need any swimming pool - I guess that's just a symbol of welfare which is needed for people with inferiority complexes who have become rich somehow. Swimming in a natural water, natural mood in the depth of the water, natural sand - what can be better than this?

At least you are lucky enough that you are living in natural resources which is clean and not polluted. Unlike here in Manila where I live we couldn't use those natural resources like the river and even the sea since it is polluted. Unless if we are going to live in provinces which will be impossible since we are all born here in the city. And to my house that I live we don't have a river near us but a flood with full of yucky! stuffs, so of course we couldn't swim there even if that is only free.
I don't believe that having swimming pool or the people who needs it are having their inferiority complexes. As I said above I don't want to have it just to show off with other people but at least I can do my practice of swimming that is consider as part of exercise rather to commute or use transportation just to go somewhere else to find where to swim then it could be really hassle.
I agree that natural water and sand can be really better but in our case we really have to spent much so that we can be able to go to the resort so that we can swim on the natural water and feel the ambiance while on the sand.

There are rivers and other water places around :)
And at all i'm not fan of pools :)
If i get rich i might build one for my family that i don't like it (or maybe i will like it :P ) does not mean i can't make one for my close people ;)

You are also lucky enough to have clean rivers and other water places around that you can swim. So where do you live? Because here in Manila there is no such clean rivers and sea. We are not even allowed to swim at Manila Bay unlike the long time ago that we are not yet existing on this world someone even told me that they were able to swim at Manila Bay and it was still clean at that time.
I just can't get it, so meaning you are going to build swimming pool to your family that you don't like?
