Is it a good rate - $1 per Resume ! / myLot

I have got a new freelance resume writing job , but i am getting Rs.50 ( $1 ) per resume written.i am an article writer , and usually I get $1 -$2 per article but in the case of resume please tell me is it a good rate to start ? Although I have written many articles till now , but in case of resume writing , its my first experience. Please give me your views if it is a good rate ! And any suggestions ?

Personally, I don't think that rate is worth it, at all. You deserve a lot more than that. It's kinda ironic. You're writing resumes that will presumely help someone find a job, whereas you're not getting paid well for your job. It's ultimately your decision what you do, but I feel you're being taken for a ride. It's insulting.

I paid $40.00 about 10 years ago to have my resume done. Sometimes the pay for a professional resume can go as high as $200. By US standards, I would think $25.00 would be a good place to start.

Hi, Rs.50 seems to be less than what you deserve for writing resumes.Demand at least $2 for it.As we know $1 in Indian rupee is not even Rs.100 so at least $2 I think should be your bid for each task.

hey really it is good part time job for you as you say that you earn $1-$2 for every resume writing.. I think it is a good part time job which you can done from your home.. i like it.. and in our Indian currency teh rate of $1 is in present time is 45 rupees..
