Many countries around the world accept the death penalty as an extreme form of punishment for an extreme crime. Among these countries are: Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Cameroon and some states of America too.
The ways to kill a person by the death penalty vary from country to country, but some ways are: Hanging, Electric Chair, Lethal Injection, decapitation and even stoning.
Many people are totally in favor of the death penalty, as they feel that some crimes like murder do not have a fair punishment just by arresting the murderer.
Again there are others are against capital punishment because they think that a human being does not have the right to take another person's life, no matter what the circumstances.
This is a very complicated and controversial issue.
What do you think about the death penalty? Do you live in a country imposing such a penalty?

I believe two wrongs doesn't make a right. Capital punishment should be abolished as it has been discovered that there are sometimes flaws in our legal systems thereby making people suffer for offenses they did not commit in the first place. What would happen if they've been killed before discovering their innocence?
