oh, i guess most men would want their gf/ to move in with them rather than the man moving in with the ladies' house. but in the philippines, most men move in to the woman's house and live with the woman's parents after marriage. hehe

I practically see my girlfriend daily and we spend a lot of time together so I could see we could live with each other and if she had an apartment- I could see myself and her being able to live together. Unfortunately I am not in that case and we live separately because I work and she has school.

I am not sure what the problem would be. When I met my husband, I moved in with him shortly after we met, we fell in love instantly and so I moved in with him and his parents. When we get our own place, his name will probably be the first one on the apartment, just because he is male, and also because he may earn more then I do. Love is what matters, not whose name is on what.

When I decided that I would like my boyfriend and I to move in together, I knew that I didn't want to live in his flat, and he didn't want to move in with me either, so we are now renting an apartment between us. I think that it is much better as it was a new start for the two of us rather than just the one of us having to make all of the effort. It has been a change, but I do like it as it is something that we have together, as a couple. It is important to make the step forward, but if one person moves in with the other, there is always the chance that things might end badly and then one of you end up homeless. At least if you're rent sharing, you won't be able to get thrown out of your house.
