I came upon this piece of information yesterday. It seems that Joseph Heller's book was first titled "Catch 18". But, just before its release, Leon Uris got his novel "Mila 18" published. Heller and his publisher wanted to avoid any confusion with Uris' book and it was named " Catch 22". Heller wanted to name it "Catch 14" but the publisher prevailed in the long run.
Fascinating-isn't it

i love trivia like that. dont know why. but thats a good one. ive always wanted to read that and i really think there was a movie and i may have watched and cant remember. now im going to have to look it up. because its one of my favorite sayings, since i always seem to be in a catch 22 situation. myself
