Have you visited or want to visit the school where you have studied long back?

I would love to visit the elementary school I attended as a child but it was torn down over ten years ago and a new one was built in it's place. I do have a brick from the original school but visiting the new one would not bring back the memories attached to the old building.

I taught in the primary school I went to as a child. It was extremely strange sitting on the teachers chair knowing that I was the teacher instead of the child. It almost ruined the illusion for me. I had all these memories of being a child in the school and I remembered the staff room being off limits and it felt almost wrong being able to sit in the staff room and eat my lunch. It changed a lot of my memories but at least it also added new ones.

i really wanted it too. i have visited it, but unfortunately i can't go inside. so i just watch it from the outside. they are not allow non-student to go inside because they were afraid that someone would steal or something

Last year I visited my primary school, just a few days after primary reunion. Well, it brought back to our beatiful moments when we were kids, when thigns were still cheap, we had no computer, internet game, no pollution, we ran and played at the field,good music, TV shows and so on. I still visit my campus if i hang out with my campus friends. Campus life is also beautiful. Just remember during the protest 1998, when students wanted to oust Suharto, we couldn`t go back home after the looting took place everywhere..that moment

Maybe I should visit my grade school. I've been having some vivid dreams about it lately. Sometimes, scary dreams - me running along the dark corridors! *shivers*
