America is seen as a symbol of prosperity and peace, or is it?
Take a look at this list of countries America has been in conflict with:
China
korea
Laos
Guatemala
Indonesia
Cuba
Congo
Dominican Republic
Peru
Vietnam
Cambodia
Lebanon
Grenada
Libya
El Salvador
Nicaragua
Iran
Iraq
Afghanistan
Panama
Kuwait
Somalia
Croatia
Bosnia
Sudan
Yugoslavia
all since world war 2, so this list does not include war with Britain, Mexico, Germany and Japan and the countless other pre WWII conflict America was involved with either directly or financially.
Is American not more of an aggressor than other country over the same time span? All I see in the news is how great America is but these facts seem to conflict with this.

It amazes me at what a long list of countries America has been in conflict with. I know for me, as an American, I want nothing more than to have peace in the world. I strive for it every day in my little corner of the world. I think American leadership needs to be scaled down a bit, there is a lot of money being spent to capture a resource that is quickly depleting. It is unfortunate that we have been conflicting with others for so long. I do, however, like to think that we as a country have done some pretty amazing things around the world as well. It would be wonderful if everyone in the entire world could live in harmony and help each other graciously.
