In entire of my life, I have never had to ask money from a stranger. I think that it is not polite to ask money from a stranger for whatever reasons. But, I have some experiences that I have ever been asked by stranger. I didn't remember exactly when it happened. It has been happening while I was still at a senior high school. Oneday, when i get passed down the street, they were three stranger, they were boys still. They asked me some money and I didn't give them. They pushed me but I tried to fight back against them becuase I didn't have enough money. I won't have to give them money because they are juvenile. They beat me down until I was really enough brave to pick a wood and tried to hit them back. They ran away fearfully. I remember the moments and I promised I would never asked a stranger money because I felt how was it like when we are asked money by stranger.

I have never asked a stranger for money. I always carry extra cash with me just in case I need it. I would feel really embarrased to have to ask someone for cash. I know others do this but for me I would feel really low. I really dont think strangers would give others that much cash in the first place. But you never know.

I never have, but someone asked me for money when I got off the bus tonight. I live near the local drop in centre, so it happens too often. I am on a low income myself, so I really like to keep what I do have.

I have never done this and hope I never have to. I have been asked for change and used to help out but not much any longer due to my own financial needs. Things have gotten slightly better but have a long way to go. Not so desperate to ask for a handout, thank goodness. If I find change on the ground I pick up and add to my change jar for a rainy day.

I've never had to ask strangers for money, thankfully. I go to school in an area with a lot of homeless people and they always ask me for money. It makes me feel really awkward, although I can understand how it would make the person asking feel really embarrassed.

Hi. Lore2009. I am sure that I have done this this. I just can't remember on this part. But I did ask a man for a couple of dollars last year at Walmart. I was short of $2.00 and he gave it to me. I also asked this other man for money one time. And he sarcastically smiled at me and said, "What makes you think that I am going to give you some money and I don't even know you". Well, he did. I don't like asking people for money. After these two situations, I don't bother with asking a stranger for money anymore.

Hello Lore,
I have never asked a stranger for money, it would be really embarrassing for me.
I'm not so proud person, but i can imagine how most of the people feel, when some stranger ask them for money, because we have a lot of beggars on our streets.
On the other hand, i always am trying to think what would it be, if it was me, who needed little coins for something, as example if i loose my waller or i was robbed or something like that. It would be really sad and i sympathize that kind of people.
I'm not so big helper, if i have to be honest. But i feel blessed with something and it is to watch the other people in their eyes and to try to feel their emotions. If i see there is something wrong, i would never give money to that person. I respect one reason for begging and that reason is hunger. I prefer to buy food and to give it to someone, than to give him money.
I have to say that i'm not a rich girl too, lately we are not good even in paying our expenses, but when i was single, worked and had my own money, because i lived with my parents so not really much expenses, i always was ready to help.
