Benigno Simeon Nonoy Aquino is the new president of the Philippine Republic. as far of my concern am not really believe on his political views. starting on his cabinet members like Usec Puno who's forgot to bring the list of names that's involved on Jueteng. i think Philippine deserve's a new goverment. not this people that only thinks is have more and more money for their selves hayyyy!. Philippine when is the right time to make you belong on those country's like America and European countries. hope am still alive when that comes. how about you what do you think on

Hello LDalayap,
May I ask whom you vote this last 2010? i am sure you're already eligible to vote. don't worry can't blame that on me since I didn't vote for this man. for your discussion i guess i should let it all out again.
I and others who supported for the other guy knew this is going to happen. of course, many people where just too blinded because of popularity. i never regretted voting for him. despite that he lost, he's still serving the public.
not a referral link.

well, it's not yet one or two years. so, for me i can't judge that much on the performance. but i can tell that a lot of people are frustrated already. specially those who want INSTANT chance

Pnoy has been in office for just two months. What can you expect from a 2-month old administration? Come on, this is our government whether we voted for him or not. It does not help if some of us keep on complaining on something that is not caused by the present administration. the election has been done. the people have spoken. it is time to support the person that was chosen by the highest plurality of filipinos. as for me, i support the new administration trying to institute changes in our government.

It's the people's cooperation which makes a government effective in governing a country. Too much finger pointing will get to nowhere. If you think this government is thrash then whose government isn't for you? Every time a new President is elected there's always an opposition. People who supports the opposition always says negative things about the current government. I really do believe that for most people an elected president is someone who is to take the blame for all a nation's problems.

I think you need to consider that this cabinet are newly appointed and the administration is just starting to fix those mess made by the past administration leaving this current administration in debt and no funds for other projects and then here comes another adversities that the cause of it was clearly from the past administration so don't put all the blame in one you need to consider that the president is just starting up to fix and have solution fro this matter

He just started a couple of months ago. He's not a superhuman that can change the country in an instant. Give the guy a chance, I know he's doing his best for the betterment of our country. If you were elected as a City Mayor, can you change your city in one day? It's the whole Philippines that he's in-charge of. So many problems left by Gloria to solve. I know Pnoy's acting on it one by one. And learn your english. Also, it's Noynoy not Nonoy. =)

Being a President of a country like the Philippines is not an easy task. Why don't we stop complaining for once and give our leaders a chance to fulfill their tasks as duly elected officers. Pres. Noy doesn't have a magic wand to just wisk away the problems of this country. I suggest that before we blame our government leaders, let's examine every angle of the issue/problem first. Let us be patient and help those who are in position in our own little ways so we can all liberate ourselves from this very poor condition that we are in. We have to remember that the progress and development of a country doesn't solely rest in the hands of the President.

I agree with you.. President Aquino have just seated at the office for more than two months and people are over criticizing his capability as the elected president of the Republic of the Philippines..
Honestly, I did not cast my vote for Aquino but we should have to respect him and support for his program. Anyway, we still have more years to judge if he is a good president..
We shouldn't think what President Aquino can do (contribute) for the Filipinos but we should think what we can do for our country as a fully participating citizen.

I understand your sentiments because we Filipinos are really fed up with how the government runs for years and how many corrupt officials there are. The sad thing is, corruption starts even at the lowest government positions. However, the Aquino administration is just a few months old. There are many problems that have accummulated from previous administrations, we cannot expect him to erase those in just less than half a year.
There is a question though why Archbishop Cruz only brought up the jueteng issues now after all those years. I guess that shows that he has confidence in this administration. After all, Sec. Jessie Robredo was the mayor of Naga city and kept it jueteng-free! I just hope he can do it on a national level. It's surprising though that some people on the list are actually still in the current government.
Like you, I also hope that I would still be alive when the time comes that the Philippines will no longer be a third world country but will be comparable to that of US and European countries. Hey, maybe we will. It may still be a long way but it's not impossible right?

it is your right to give your views and opinions in your government but cant you just think of it? instead of criticizing your government why dont you do something to contribute some good things in your country....
for like you who is looking for progress in your country, you should do something in your own little way to help your country prosper...
Noynoy won the election because most of the people in the Philippines voted for him, so we have nothing to do about it... lets just be corcerned with our selves that we cannot add dilemma on Noynoy's admin....

our government under pres. Aquino is focused majority in solving corruptions..
it is good to know that he is working good in that area. However our country has many problems to face and to solve. I didn't vote for him, yet i know, same as the other political leaders, he has something to contribute to the progress of this country. For at least in corruption aspect. I believe to the other expresidentiable that I vote, though he didn't win, that a change start in individuality.

The Philippines is a beautiful country full of prestine beaches, intelligent agriculturists, famous singers, the best boxer in the world, adobo, etc., and you get distracted by the people running your country? If you think your president is not doing his job, let him be, he will be judge by a higher being. Just enjoy your beautiful country. Have you heard of Iraq, Afghanistan, Haiti, etc.,. They are even worse. And don't compare the Philippines to US or other rich Eauropean nations, no nation can be at the same level. So it has to be the US on top and Philippines down below or the Philippines on top and the US down. Its how the world economy runs. So don't blame your leaders. If you happen to live in a poor country, its not anybody's fault. Just be proud of your country and enjoy living in it. Having Manny Pacquiao is something you should already be proud of.

Hello LDalayap, I think is still to early to say that is just another trash goverment, it's only been a 3 months since he became President. Beside making a country into a super country doesn't take a day to create, it takes year to accomplish, many many many years. I don't think your being fair to the goverment right now, judging them so early. Besides, goverment right now is doing their best for the people, just look around you, you'll see there are some changes already.

It is too early to tell dear. You can never assess a president's performance in just a few months. The ones being teleforcasted are not the only ones the president does. So don't just rely on what's being in the news. I personally know the Usec., and I think that he is legible for the position. He's been a nice man, a good friend of Noy's and a professional person. So do not just judge early on, I have high hopes for this country, and I hope you too.
