Just like other people, I want to have and keep something that would make me smile or consider mine until I grow old. I love to keep things especially little things given by a friend. But I want myself to give me something I could keep, and since we are not the wealthy, I could not avail expensive collection. But I have my tweety item collection. How about you? What do you want to collect and keep for yourself? Care to share it? Happy mylotting.

I love to read, so I have collection of books. When I was still in high school, I used to collect stationeries and stickers, however, I wasn't able to keep all of it. So now, I am trying to collect Janet Evanovich novels by the numbers along with the Sidney Sheldon's books and Mary Higgins Clark...and oh, I also have DVD collections of my favorite Korean series and movies.

Nice to hear from you again bokal,
Books is an expensive collection but sensible. Sidney Sheldon's is a good choice. As for me, I love investigative book. I love Tami Hoag's and Patricia Cornwell. Good luck to us and wish we could always have a copy of our fave writers. Happy mylotting.

Hello BB, I also have some books by Patricia Cornwell, but I haven't read any of Tami Hoag's. I'm gonna try to read one...=)

i think i'd like to start collecting pictures from now on. i've started different collections before, but have stopped after years of collecting them and now i'm thinking of starting a collection again....
i've once collected lyrics and music sheets (cause I play the piano) but have stopped since I got busier ...
as a child, i've also collected stamps before. and as a teenager, makeups. i still have lots of makeup items now, but i don't treat them as a collection, and I don't buy them for the sake of collecting them. i use them because it's necessary to wear them at work.

I remember during my younger years, I used to start to collect different things purposely to make it as collection, but always supressed by some reasons.
Actually, until now I still have the remaining stamps as my collection before. Good luck to your planned picture collection. And thank you as well for sharing your experience. Happy mylotting

The item that I collect are the item that me and my future wife have significant value to us, for example are the letter she send to me, ice cream plastic wrapper we first ate. The tissue we use on a fast food, the flower she gave to me. The first money she gave to me and many others things that other can consider junk, but for me all of those are my treasures.

Hi Peykat,
That's great, seems you're such a romantic guy, imagine, keeping those little things since you started your relatioship, that's great ha? And for sure, it woud add strength to your relationship remembering how you value things between you and your wife. Congratulations and good luck. Happy mylotting.
