Yes, becoming a doctor is my dream, and I have been working hard for it for 6 years now. It's hard really, you sleep less, you are expected to pass and do good in all practical and written examinations. You have to be attentive in class.. but for me it's all worth it. If that's what it takes to become a great healer.:)
Are there future doctors here too? Nurses? PT's? How has life been treating you so far? Are you enjoying your profession?

oh yeah? How is dentistry so far? My sister aspired to be a dentist, but she became a nurse now and so far enjoying her work. I know, you have really comprehensive lectures on the head and neck part,;) sounds interesting.
Good luck to the both of us! May we find fulfillment in achieving our dreams:)

Hello! I am a hopeful nurse wanna be before but sad to say, I didn't pursue my dreams of becoming one because of my family. They told me that its mush better to take any other course who will be in demand for the next couple of years rather than riding in a bandwagon of nurses who never had a job that time. So I took up Computer Science instead, so sad that after I finished my course, the demand for nurses became so huge that all of my classmates who graduated that time got a nice job after wards. I am full of regrets even up to now because i never fight for the real job I wanted to have.
I am happy for you, continue to believe and fight for all the hard ships that you're facing right now. No guts, no glory. No pain, no gain. Just look at the finish line and not the race itself, with the way you sounded to me, I congratulate you in advance, our future doctor... Good luck!

Oh that's sad. But computer sounds to be a great course too especially that it is indemand in asian countries like dubai. THank you for that uplifting advice, makes me dream bigger, work harder and persevere more. I will really do the best that I can to excel, so that I can comfort the patients and help them understand about their diseases.:)
Good luck to the both us:)

It's ok, PT now is really in demand in countries abroad. PT is a very good premed course, because most of my classmates who are PT are now excelling in subjects especially anatomy. They are also good in Physical examinations.
The problem with medical course is it's expensive. that's why now that my parents really took the risk of getting me into med school, i really have to work hard.:)
Goodluck to you! Good luck to both of us!:)

I'm a nurse but I am not practicing my profession. I was kind of pushed to this course and it's not really my dream to become one. I don't want to work as a nurse because it pains me so to see people suffer diseases and don't get help. I have a soft heart and we both know that nurses and doctors need to show their patients that they are strong. I am thankful for what I have learned but my heart, and health, ain't just up to the challenge.
