Fellow my lotters, have you experienced the hacking scenario a few minutes ago?
Sad to say I am one of the victims. :( I panicked and didn't know what to do, instead of reporting it as a spam I decided to deactivate the account :( huhuhuh. I was so worried when the display keeps on saying that I retweet someone that i'am not following.. then blah blah.. And now i have to create a new twitter account and start again to get followers :(
Are you also a victim of the Twitter hacking incident? what did you do?

Wait you do you mean. Before I responded I went over to check my twitter and all seems fine. I even sent out a tweet and it went fine too.
What should I be looking for to determine if I was hacked or not, as all seems normal on my end??

Everything's fine now. It was the whole site that was hacked, not any members. The page was showing up weird, and there was a tweet that people were just mousing over and that made them retweet it. That hit me twice, and when things went back to normal, I just deleted the retweets. There's nothing for you to worry about.

I read about this this morning on my opening Yahoo page. I haven't logged in to twitter. What happens how do you know you are hacked? I haven't read the full info yet on the topic but plan to do so. I am a frequent twitter user and use it through sponsored tweets to make extra money.

all is fine now angel9673. twitter admin said it was a XSS xploit, something that was put on your page, twitter said everything is patched now. same here i also use twitter for referrals and to spread my referral links.
