I find myself wondering whether religion actually matters. Surely as long as you are a good person, with good morals and intentions, it shouldn't matter if you believe in a God or not.

It was given as a message last sunday at our church that yes, you can go on thinking that there is a different God but be good and it shouldn't matter as long as you believe "God". We were given a scenario. You don't believe in the law of gravity and you said one day... "I SINCERELY don't believe in gravity so I'll jump off this building and fly." You jump off and then you hit the ground. You could be sincere but remember everyone can be sincere and sometimes you can be sincerely wrong. Religion is a big aspect in my life. It doesn't just give me hope and something to believe in. It allows me to express that God... My one true God is watching over me and it allows me to express that I am his follower and that I love Him. God has provided for me when I asked for great things and I will believe in Him until the very end. No offense to you but God for me is God and whether you believe or not will continue to exist. His proof is not earthly substantial but it is felt. :D Happy mylotting :p
