Financial Infidelity

i guess i have but i try not to. we are in a tight spot financially so we have to be honest with each other because we just dont have a lot of extra cash right now.

At one time or another in our lives, we have all probably hidden a purchase or two from our partners. It might just be something we didn't think our partner would agree about buying. We might be embarrassed that we bought something and we want to keep it to ourselves. It might not be a matter of dishonesty, but just being frivolous.

Sometimes when I buy something like a new dress or top (not very often!) I'll put it away in the wardrobe for a while so that when I do get it out and wear it I can say, "I've had this for ages!" and it's not a lie! I used to feel more guilty, but he knows all about it really. It's a standing joke between us because he does the same thing with video games! I wouldn't hide cash from him though.
