I am not saying that zoos are all bad, they do provide us with education, and most zoo’s make a great job in caring and activating, and breeding programs exchange animals between zoos to keep a healthy gene poll.

zoos and animal reserves have likely saved many species from extinction!

It is also the cause of animals getting close to extinction, at least 40-100 years ago when all animals were caught in the wild, and no breeding programs available.

Do you mean parks or reservations in countries where the animals come from ?

No, I don't think it is. Animals should born free and live free, not on jails, for the happiness of humans beings. I believe that animals has their own rights, and deserve to be respect. If humans demands respect, they should learn to respect either.

I believe that animals belong in the wild, and as humans we have a huge responsibility to protect animals and their natural habitat. I realize that animals born in zoo’s can not be released into the wild, beside zoo’s also provides an educational role. But not all animals are suitable for zoo’s. I want fewer animals in the zoo giving them more space, and it should be illegal to catch any animal in the wild.

It is ethical if the zoos have clean and complete facilities and the animals get the right nourishment. It is also a way of preserving or continuing the life cycle of the endangered species.

I am not saying that zoo’s are all bad but: It is a fact that not all animals can breed in captivity. Besides I wouldn’t like to be trapped in a cage all my life
