Portugal's new coach

Portuguese Football Federation has appointed former Sporting coach Paulo Bento a contract agreement until 2012. And he will begin his duties on October 8 against Danes in the upcoming Euro 2012 qualifiers.

I hope He can bring something for portugal. I must say he got a stockpile of red card when he was player so I guess Portugal game may harsh in the future..

They tried to appoint Mourinho, but Real didn't agree and didn't let Mourinho go. Paulo Bento was a smart player and I believe he will be a good trainer as well. He was a good defensive midfielder, who has worked a lot and won many one on one battles with the opponents, he was a real asset to the teams he played. I am sure he will do a better job than Quieroz did, because Quieroz made a poor job as a coach of the national team of Portugal.
