Are you hoping for a snowy winter for 2010/2011?

I am just about the biggest kid (in my 40's) you can get. I long for it to snow. I am looking on the internet to see what predictions people are making in the run up to winter. As soon as there is a decent amount, I drag the children and husband out to make a snowman in the back and the front. I have to play snowballing with them afterwards, all part of the fun, until one gets squeezed down my neck. I wonder what sort of a winter 2010/2011 will turn out to be.

Well it is no use hoping for snow in my part of the world, because it will take another couple of years thanks to global warming. It is getting hotter and hotter in summer and colder and colder in winter. Even though I live in Nepal, to get the glimpse of snow I would need to travel far to Eastern Nepal.
During my stay in New Delhi, we used to go for these trips in winter toward Shimla, Rohtang pass, Ladakkh. The games we have played in the snow will remain cherished in the heart for long as I don't have much of the plan to travel for quite some time.

I am dreading all the cold winter that we get every year.I hate all the snow,as there are always people having accidents.I am not very well if i get too cold and it causes more pain, when i get cold.I hate all the wet clothes aswell as all the cold feeling that you get with the snow and winter.

I am so excited for snow, even though I go to school in NYC and will have to walk in it to get to class. I always loved snow as a kid, and I still do. I haven't had a decent snowball fight in ages. That's something I'll need to do this winter. And I haven't been skiing in forever, but I probably won't be able to afford that this summer.

I have lived in Illinois all my life and trust it is no actual party. Not only do we get tons of snow we also get 30 below zero alongside the frigid snow. So if you ever want to see a lot of snow IL is the place to be, but not for too long as I think you can actually turn into a snow man in the process.

I wouldn't mind, but I do not want nearly as much snow as we had last year. That was a total fluke, and was really horrible because I have a long driveway, and had to park out on the road for several days. I also no longer have a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
