Do you change when you are online? Do you seem to be more outgoing, shy, critical, open, comfortable, uncomfortable when you are online? I think I am more outspoken online compared to the person me... but both are still me, what about you?

i agree that there is a difference though not really that big. sometimes we can express more of our thoughts when we are online probably because it is not as personal.

Hi dear, Where ever I am, I prefer to be the way how I am. It is more comfortable for me. I got a selfness and it reflects whatever I do and whatever I say. I cannot be indifferent at times for different positions and different occasions. There may be different personality positions at various stages like in office behave like a good employee, for the children we need to be a great father and a trusted husband for the wife etc. But these multiple personalities are self contented nature which automatically reflects as per the positions we held. So, in general, where I am and how I am are not changed at different platforms like on line etc. Regards, Thank-s

Me too, I'm not so talkative. Unless I know the person already.

When i talk online i am more open and can express emotions with letters and words better than i could talking to a person up front.I get really scared taling to people that i have never met before as a am afraid that i will embarass myself by saying something that may offend them.I try to talk in public when i can but it takes me a while to trust someone as some people are there to take advantage of you an may ask favours and never return them.

Yes, it is true, the world is dangerous out there... and the screen seems to protect us a little through the internet. Thanks for sharing.

I am a very shy guy in real life.I even often blush when i face the girl i love secretly. But i usually show the opposite character on the internet.I'm much braver and more outgoing in this virtual world. It's an amazing thing, isn't it?

I am definitely more open and not outspoken, but outgoing than I would be in real life. In real life, with the exception of work, I typically do not talk to strangers at all! Whereas all of the people on MyLot that I *talk* to, or respond to discussions of, are essentially strangers. In real life, it seems a lot riskier to talk to strangers (in my opinion). Haha, but personality wise, I think it's pretty spot-on.

I agree, it is 'safer' to approach strangers through the internet.

I think that I am more open and maybe outgoing but not really outspoken or critical because I am actually very critical in person. If anything I am nicer and mor eunderstanding online I put thought into my answer and try to give as a complete answer as I can. In person I am very blunt and can be mean if I think it is a stupid question on here I just choose not to answer those questions. Ha Ha

I am more open with my feelings when I am online. I am somewhat reserved when I deal with people, and it takes a long time for me to trust my emotions to others. But while im online, I can say every bits of thoughts that I have without apprehension.

Me too, I guess this is pretty mutual to most of us.
