I am glad to see that you are thinking and asking questions on your own, rather than asking the Priest who is prejudiced in favor of the Church. At a young age I wondered why Science and Religion were not going hand in hand. It seemed to me that Science should support Religion, and Religion support Science, but alas they did not, and could not. In my mind, there was a wrong here that could not be rectified, so I walked away from the church never to return. I believe in one God, but not in the Religious God, or the God that demands Money be Collected,(why does God need Money?} or the Priests who abuse little kids in Sunday School.

Well, people pretty much believe in different versions of the same thing. Most religions are centered around the existance of a higher power (God, Allah, Buddha, whatever you call it), but these different beliefs pretty much vary in the details, such as how things came to be, folk tales, and the disagreement on Jesus and whether he exists or was the messenger. So, although most of us who have an organized religion believe in the same kind of higher power, the details around it are a little different culture to culture and religion to religion. That's at least my interpretation of things!

Ah, the good old question which dont allow me to sleep for a lot of nights. Anyway I think, we will all see. After the life. And if we will find out that we was wrong, it will not be our fault cause the existence of many religions can realy make us to decide in wrong one. But if you want the truth, want to know which one is the real thing, than you must consider that everyone of us have their own truth, so we can all believe in different things (Gods) but be satisfacted at the end of life.

by that question of yours, i truly blame the bible.... because of Myth....
the chosen people of the to the time of Moses doesn't have a bible but they believe only in ONE GOD.... the God of Abraham....
bible is a myth....
a myth creates and produce another form of myth....
and the myth believers multiplies unto a different understandings...
and the numbers of Christian Religions existed as of now is the evidence to support the claims....
