How do you like uncertain answers?

Hello again my co-mylotters,
I have come with this discussion, because I want to know if most of the people like to receive uncertain answers or on the other hand, if they used to answer with uncertainty.
I have asked a lot of questions to my hubby that can be answered by yes or no, but he always preferred to answer maybe, could be, possibly, might be, and etc. In some cases, I don't like to receive answers something like that, because it left me hanging in the air.
Whenever that happens, I would then go on my routine verse: My question is answerable by yes or no, and therefore my expected answer is only YES or NO, until you answer me either one of those word, I will repeat the question over and over again. And it seems to work.
Have you tried of something like that, or you are always contented receiving uncertain answers?
