Do you give compliments to people?

Yes I do, I never fail to give right compliments to deserving people and I know well0meaning compliments never fail to lift up one's mood!

Its a toss up because I don't want to sound forward but at the same time people are looking for affirmation and what they are doing with their appearance. I know that some people like to compliment on a person's wealth but a rich person already knows they have money so its pretty pointless. I'd rather give encouragement to help somebody out rather than stroke their ego, if that's what they are going for in the first place.

I will give compliments from time to time. If I notice something and have time to say it, then I will give that person a compliment. I don't mind giving someone a compliment, if I get the chance to do so and if I feel that it's appropriate.

Yes I am. I will say "you are beautiful" if I meet a person or one of my friends which are, in fact, beautiful. I will mention "you are a good person" if one of my friends are, in fact, doing good deeds. Sometimes I will do that not by saying something, but by doing something in return, supporting them or give them positive feedback. Although I will never ever do it more than just it should be.

well, i always give good compliments to my friends, I like to boost their self - esteem... it feels good when someone appreciate your effort to look good =)

I give complements for those who deserve it. But for those very boastful and self centered I don't give any just respect and greetings.

I give positive feedback to all my friends.Their appearance,work etc.Most of my close friends reciprocate too.But to go to the stage of being very friendly with newcomers i'm a bit selective.

I notice that its not common here to compliment people. So I do feel funny giving compliments but I still do because I find myself staring at whatever or whoever thats catching my attention. One thing that I know thats worth complimenting is when i buy food at the food centre where the seller will personally scoop for you whatever food you want. When i address the seller as younger than me, it makes her happy and she will give me bigger portions of food. thats manipulating but it still makes her day and it makes my day too!

Normally I was the type of person that never took notice to things like that, but since my tough year this year I have begun to be a bit more observant and really compliment even the smallest things in life. I suppose this comes with waking up a bit and realizing what is more important in life so yes, I have become a very complimentary person.

well i do not give compliments easily....i just do it with someone i am very closed with....because i gave so much value to compliments, i do not like giving compliments just to boast one person...
