Dell Latitude D610 Battery Fail

I recently purchased a Dell Latitude D610 and noticed that the batter had less than 20 minutes working life after full charge. I'm really disappointed. Have you experienced purchasing a Dell Latitude D610 and dicovered a defective battery? Isent it back to the seller and I am waiting for the replacement.

i have dell latitude d620. and everytime i uset it, the machine is so hot. its like 60-70 degrees. i buy it in secondhand, so if the battery fail its ok for me. the battery can hold up to 1 hour.
