Is India good enough to host international events?

India is one of the biggest and most populous countries in the world but it is more quantity than quality. Its politics are not that great. The country is a mess. Having athletes complain the sports village was not habitable is just a disgrace. Plus the collapse of the footbridge is just an example of India's lack of emphasis on quality.
Also the fact that the authorities allowed excrement to be in places they should not be is just wrong.
A statement by the Commonwealth games Indian organising committee that everyone has different standards is just wrong. It is not right to say that Indians have different standards and Westerners have different standards. If you are inviting people from outside to your country, you should keep up with international standards.
Plus a tourist shooting suggests that India is not a safe place. For their own safety, the athletes should return home. Never mind the medals, they should think about their safety.

Yes India has ability to host any international events. But some peoples don’t want that India host any international events. Because they jealous of our country. I mean India is a developing country and now it growth rate are slowly-2 improves. So at this time many peoples want to get hurt to India and want to hurt India’s dignity on international place. So they do this. But I think India is capable to host any international events.
