You cannot make money off of Yahoo Answers. I loved Yahoo Answers and I answered questions as a hobby and I was very active. I was top contributor for many sections as well until I recently found out about myLot and I switched! I am still a newbie here and trying to learn how to make money off this site PLUS enjoy what I am doing.

Hi ieiajay, as far as I know we are not paid both in creating and answering question at yahoo answers. One point is added to our yahoo answer account for every visit for the particular day. Points will be deducted if a single question is submitted. I'm also a user of that site but I'm not a regular visitor. I would visit the site randomly. I find more fun to participate in the activities available in myLot site. Moreover we are paid on time once we have reached the minimum payment set. i don't think you can make money off yahoo answers. i used to be hooked with it for a while after graduating college. when i was still looking for work, i had nothing better to do, wish i had discovered mylot then!

As far as my knowledge goes, there is no provision of earning from yahoo answers.
