I am new to mylot.
And I find out that some member's user name has a star next to it.
And also there is a number in the star.
I don't know what it's meaning and how to get this.
Anyone can tell?

It shows our participation level. The more active we are, more reply, more discussion we join, we will earn it.
If you put your cursor on the star, you can see our reputation. The higher number is better of course :)
It takes time to hit a star. You can always earn it by being active in forum for starters.
Good luck and welcome to myLot!

The star next to your username represents your myLot reputation. It shows how your posts are seen by the other myLotters. You can see the + and the - near all posts. Those can be used to rate a post positive or negative.
Only users with the rating over 100 have a myLot reputation. You're not too far of receiving a reputation, so keep posting!
MyLot Reputation rating takes into account the Discussion Ratings System (DRS) and is based on a scale of 0 to 10 stars with 10 stars being the highest.
You can read more about discussion ratings system here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq17.aspx
