Has anyone here read the book the perks of being a wallflower? I myself thought it was a fantastic book. What are your opinions about the book and why.

Oh my gosh, do you know how many times this book has been recommended to me? Haha. I seriously need to sit down and read it. Can you give the author's name so I can go to the library and get it?
PS- Have you read anything by Haruki Murakami? I am currently reading him and he is fantastic!
