Blackberry addict

In my city (Jakarta)almost everybody is using a blackberry smart phone in various models, i think now is the most used smart phone, some using it for work and business while a lot other just using it for fun.
We always encourage our friend who don't have a blackberry to buy one, some of them refuse at first but in the end they all buy it.
I sometimes wonder if I'm an addict, because it seems I can't get enough of my blackberry, always chat and browsing, and sometimes I see people in cafe seating together but everyone is busy with their own blackberry, maybe they are texting to each other even they are seated together.
I want to know if in other country or city people also use blackberry like here in Jakarta.

hai barry..iam indonesian too and lived in sulawesi island..not only in jakarta , but all of this country addicted blackberry...some of use use blackberry is only for prestige..but for the people which had no much money to buy blackberry, they buy a similar phone like blackberry but the price is more cheaper than real blackberyy (so thanks for china cell phone )

hai too adhy, yeah thats right, most people in Indonesia these day buy blackberry only for fun, to chat using the messenger, to access facebook, tweeter, ect. I mean what would a junior high student with a blackberry if not for fun?
and the terrible blackberry look alike chinese phone that even listed track ball as a feature, while blackberry have use track pad now.

I am also an Indonesian. I live in Yogyakarta. In Yogyakarta, also the same thing happen with in Jakarta. Some people have the Blackberry just for prestige only, and to look cool. While the function of Blackbarry less attention. In my opinion blackberry be the same as other phones, because most people wear blackbary, just for prestige only.

hi indah, I don't know what is so cool with blackberry, iphone is cool, but a blackberry? I only buying it for the function and i have the most basic model ( curve 8520 ) and because my whole family are using blackberry.

hmmm i am from india and here people love to show-off i mean yes we have Blackberry and all the smartphones however we dont have the good bandwidth connection on witch we are going to run those smartphones. and really people are using those smartphone as normal phone becasue the always has PC or lappy on the go....

yeah same like in lampung, we are in here use this smartphone too, and many people around me addicted to blackberry. Everywhere i go, i look that everyone is so busy with their own blackberry. I like it too, because it can connecting me and my friends by using BBM, and we can use it for our businness like online shop
