What kind of Pet do you prefer to keep at home?

Pets are considered as one of man's best friends. They somehow take away the stress after a long day at work and they keep us company when we are alone. Taking care of pets is also a good way of teaching our kids to be responsible. Whatever pet we prefer to keep at home, we should always remember to treat them as part of the family and with utmost importance. Pets would never ask us for anything in return except for our LOVE and AFFECTION. As for me, I prefer dogs and I like the smaller ones like Poodle and Shih Tzu because I find them very cute and lovable...How about you? What type of pets do you prefer? and Why?

Honestly, I don't keep any pets at home, and it means that I don't have any pet or animals around my house. I would love to have one, but after long thought and consideration, I just couldn't afford one, and I don't have time to feed them or keep them as part of my family. I like dogs and cats too, and I don't like those exotic animals, like alligator; lizard; snake; spider etc....... Anyway, whenever I felt like I would need an animal, I might adopt one at home.

that is right, as for me if ever i decide to have a pet on my own, i would make sure i really want it and that i can care and provide for it well. treat it like a person and as part of the family. if not then i'd rather not,,i choose to have a dog..they can be cute and affectionate if you really take care of them also they can act as a guard at home too..i want a dog that is friendly. maybe just one dog will do for me.

My pets today are chickens, hens and rosters because I love to see them grow and multiply. I enjoyed looking at my roster, when the water was very low, he dropped a pebble to increase the height of the water. At least, from stories, I did observed it in reality. Although, they can't stay longer years because they will be getting old, I learned and enjoy how hens protect their chicks, guide them where to get food, protect them under her wings at night time. Rosters are very protective to their hens and chicks too. So, I see life and good relationship in them.

well we have 3 small dogs and i prefer it that way. but in the future i think i will try a bigger dog.

you're right about pets being relieving stress and teaching kids to be responsible. i also agree that pets need to be treated like family as they are capable of giving us unconditional love.. i both love dogs and cats. we have two dogs and a cat. i'm also plan to have fishes :)
