Do you ever wish you're a child again?

Hi! Yes, I've always wish to be a child again. 'Cause I had observed, my mom loves little children....Than me. She's giving chocolates to them. And not on me...

this is ironic really...when I was a child I always wished I would be adult soon. I couldn't wait to grow up. Now that I'm already an adult, I'm always imagining myself as a child again...what if I could be a child again? Less problems, less worries, less pressure...and I'd be simply happy playing with my toys and friends.

Sometimes, I wish I could be a child or a teenager again, mostly a teenager, but then I realize that being an adult isn't all that bad, and I have had it better as an adult than I did when I was a teen. When I was a teenager, my life was out of control, but as an adult, my life isn't out of control, but the people that I used to have in my life are now gone, and I am forced to move forward.

i have not wished on being a child again... i have wished to be in my late teens and early 20's again though. ha ha :D it sure was the best years in my life.. being a teenager, and of course earning money in my early 20s that seemed really enough for me :D

Yea I do. Sometimes I feel very useless and lost when I see my peers doing better than me while I'm still stuck there. I wish I could start all over again. But sadly I can't. Life is like that. You've to learn to overcome all odds. No matter what, we have to face up to life's challenges. I just hope that next time I can overtake my peers in terms of money-making, since I'm not good in academics. I have to start thinking of a business strategy or maybe make money now when I'm still schooling and save it all up. After that, I'll invest in the stock market.

OMG what you are talking about i think it would be the last wish for each and everyone who already crossed his/her 25th birthday, becasue i am from india and in this age we already completed our studys doing jobs, preparing to getting married and some of us already married and marrige means lots of resposiblity, when we do all these thing we i mean atleast i wish to be child again where i really dont care about anything whatever i want to i can do, no need to worrie about how i look, no worries about studies no problem at all just games toys fun running hide & seek those memmories are really worth then our whole life,,,,thank alot for giving superb discussion where we can feel or think this wish come tru

I also sometimes thought to be a kid again. Become the children will make me free from responsibility, and has no weight problem. Becoming an adult is very difficult and tiring. But time went on, and not go back to the kids. Life goes on.

There have been many times when i wish that I were a child again;. A chance to live life over again is sometimes a pleasing thought. I don't know if i would like to face my childhood challeneges into adulthood again. Still, the chance to begin again and avoid mistakes of later life is welcomed.

I wish i could back time and become a little innocent child again.

Sometimes i wish i am still a child without press. But i consider that all people finally will be adult and take up his responsibility .So to be a child again just a dream that won't reach .We just can think about it for the moment ,then we must and have to do thing we should do .

i really missed to be a child where the problems you may encounter are time to play and time to study, when you would want to eat and what you eat, and cry if you cant have what you have. these are the things i really missed. being an adult makes life more complicated... you have to decide on things that may have a huge impact in your future life unlike a child, you just go with the flow and your parents would just hand to you things you need and want.

yes definitely.Being a child there are no complications.Growing older makes life difficult in every aspects of it.I really wish i will become a child again and do what i never did before.I hve many wrong decisions i have made while growing up ,part of it is neglecting my studies so i really wish i will become a child again.

yeah,of course i do.you know life is hard for the the grown-ups.As an adult ,you can never do things without overall considerations,and you will have to be responsible for all of your behaviors.Nobody will be at your service at all times like mom and dad do .As a child ,i was always delighted and took everything for granted without guilt.Yet now i have been upset and guilty of my dependence upon my parents.Life is tougher for me due to my much dependence on my parents on all most every thing. when i was yough,i have nothing to worry about .But now various matters just drive me crazy, i am overwhelmed. So it is not odd that i tell myself if only i was a child again a thousand time!

I never wish I was a child again. One, I will never be a child again. Thinking of what was lost and beyond regain is pointless...that means I do not want to move on with life. Two, I want to depend on my parents all over again when I should be helping them prepare for old age. It would be unfair of me. But I could "be" a child although an adult. By being innocent. wonder what it means? By looking at things with curiosity and without bias, with an open mind. I try to all the time. By trying to have trust and faith...and love, the greatest force in the universe.

There are times I wish I were a child again where things were much simpler and I had no responsibilities and nothing whatsoever to worry about. :) I think everyone wishes for that every once in a while because with the hectic lifestyle and the stress that adults are continually exposed to, we look back and miss the times when all we did was eat, sleep and play. And that was our right back then! It's funny sometimes I think back on my college days and just laugh at myself for stressing over my thesis, papers and readings. I often joke that I would rather worry and stress about those things than deal with the world's realities. I think it all just comes down to where we are in our lives. We look back with longing at our past and wish everything would be easier like it was then. But when you think about it, everything seemed easier because we have already gone through it. When our future selves would look back at the present us, I think a number of us would also wish we could go back to us - to this time.

No, I don't really wish that I was a kid again. I enjoy being an adult, and I do like the life that I have now. As much as I do think that it was a lot simple being a kid, I still wouldn't really want to go back to being a child. At times, I might miss it a little, but it's no more than that.

yes i feel like been a child again.. ! i remember my childhood days.. and i still feel that those were golden days.. i want to live those sweet moments again go to school again . and live like a child again.. make new friends again . have a school bag again celebrate my birthday again.. !! wear birthday hats again .. Yes, how I wish I was a child again and if only I could turn back the hands of time, I would surely go back to that time. I'm in my late 40's now and my life is still incomplete. I was not given the chance to know and meet my real father and I don't even know how he looks like. I only knew of my real identity a few years ago and only to know that my real father passed away already so many years back. It really HURTS me so much and I really feel so INCOMPLETE. If I could turn back time and be a child again, I would surely fix everything that's lacking in my life...

Oh, I am always wishing I were a child again! Haha. And I agree. When I was a child- I was so eager to grow up. Playing dress up in too-mature-for-me dresses and wearing bright lip stick and high heels. And now that I can do all those things, I don't want to! All I want to do is go to the beach and make sand castles or play with chalk on the side walk, drawing obscure and strange things. Haha. I wish I were young. I want a week of pure youngness!
