I can only suggest that keep your communication and be open to each other. You should give each other a chance to speak what he/she feel, views, opinion etc. Your indeed right that some of relationship end because of these petty things. Also, you have to control your emotion and your pride. Learn how to be humble and say sorry if needed. Happy Mylotting!!!

Hi,
Most relationships are fragile because they are not built on strong foundation. The reason for most break ups lies in how they originated. I wrote an article http://www.bukisa.com/articles/354937_how-to-be-successful-in-relationships which I think you should read. There I argued that in a relationship one has to be strong to complement his partner's weakness. This can be best described with the following example. Suppose two hands are holding each other. Now we can't expect two hands to have equal strength. Whichever is stronger should complement other by putting on more strength. If, however, two hands have equal strength then the relationship is perfect. An example of one hand complementing other is the relationship of a father with his child, or that of a human being with God. The soundness of all the relationships that I have imparts crucial responsibilities on me. If I can adhere to a few simple rules, everything will be just fine. Thanks.
God bless you.

Firstly you have to be compatible in the first place so that you have a foundation to build a relationship from. The key to having in a long and happy relationship is trust and communication you need both of these things for any relationships to survive.

hello jeffrey!
I'm married from 15 years...long time isn't it?
In all these years I think the most important thing was trust and the second was a very good comunication:we talk about our troubles or about our plans...in fact about evrything. In this way, after 15 years we love like in the first year:)
