Bribery? is it really rampant? You cannot renew your driver's license smoothly without paying those damn fixers!!!

If we want a hassle free renew of our license then we can pay a fixer to do it for us. But I think it is not advisable since LTO themselves are posting an Anti Fixer Campaign in thier Offices.Yeah it is rampant even here in our place.

They are campaigning against fixers but even the head has his own fixer to deal with those who are renewing their license and I'm so sad about it...

Well, the moment you enter the vicinity you'll be swarmed by fixers and people who offer to process your papers the fastest way. The fact that they're there means that corruption is rampant. Also, that's just the tip of the iceberg. You haven't seen the officials concerning LTO that are responsible for carnappers to get new licence plates for their carnapped vehicles.

So far there are places here that don't have any fixers. The LTO offices found at the malls are fast and efficient and are fixer free. I have also tried renewing my license without any help from any fixer and I still manage to finish my renewal in a day. I guess going through the process and taking the hard way is better than paying someone to do the hard work for you.

It will always be your choice to deal with fixers or not. I have renewed my license several times and did not deal with fixers. You just have to have an extra patience though because it will take hours of waiting to have you new license processed.

patience really is needed, I'll try to renew my license next month without talking to those fixers...
