The high court decision on Ayodhia case will come on this 24 th. This is a case which is more than 55 years old. Even though appeal can be given to Supreme court , this verdict is very important. I hope & pray that this verdict would not start any communal violence in any part of India. It is a good news that different religious leaders come together and advice people not to cause any violence, whatever may be the verdict.I think it is people who is more important than religious monuments.God lives in peoples heart. My opinion is they should come to a peaceful agreement.
What is your opinion on this issue......

This is just too bizarre. Everywhere the muslims or christians go, they destroy the history of the existing people. They take over the existing beliefs and impose their own. They destroy buildings and beautiful architecture and build their own buildings on top. It is a blight on the earth. It will eventually be a universal blight on the whole earth until they face each other in the war to end all wars.
Shalom to my neighbors~Adoniah

I don't think that the buildings- the places of worship were destroyed- during British or King's rule.Ah! there! By King's rule do you mean the Kings who were the indigenous people who were defeated at the hands of invading hordes?Constant war was a problem of the Old World, everywhere not only in India. But the brave New World must be based on reason. An archaeological find traces the existence of a place of worship that was of one community's and a barbaric attack on it established a different monument, what do you expect a new brave world based on clear thinking should do? Use the neutral process of reasoning and without arguing further, hand it over to the original people. That is all that is needed.
If burying the hatched was what was needed why not those who had raised the hatchet in thre first place be be asked to bury it?
If the invading hordes wanted wealth that was nayway plundered- I understand there is no meaning to ask the people now to pay up for it. But what was the need to destroy a place of worship?

I believe every true Indian would want to resolve this one at least, peacefully. There is no doubt on that one. But enter politics... and there goes everything out of control.
If you have been following up with newspapers on this, you definitely would have seen adverts from the Govt. of India to maintain harmony, peace and accept the judgment of the Court. Good as it sounds. But don't you feel that is is giving some air to the so called non-peace loving people out there? Here is why I feel this way -
Many of us had forgotten what happened on Dec. 6th. and there was no interest and information about the progress at the Court. Many were even unaware that this is currently at the Court. It definitely would have been peaceful if it remained in the closet. But the media and the government have made this public and even they cannot predict Peaceful approach now. This lack of confidence is visible already - they have doubled the security at the court, the judges' home and for the judges.
I still wished all this passed peacefully.
Cheers,
Sids.

I think now people are getting smarter. They know well they are being made fool for long time by the politicians and religious contractors. Yes now they will not I hope.
I think the biggest home of the god is the heart of the man, if god cant reside there. Every temple or mosque is so small.

Yes now 2 days after the decision comes over Ayodhya. I am worried about situations because after decision there situation will be worried. Because many peoples take is as their religions decisions. I think the situations of riots may rise in country. So now everywhere police and CRPF are camping. I think this is need of time. Because mostly peoples get want to profit of these situation.

Hello,
With the intervention of politics into religious practices, nothing can remain peaceful. We, the Hindus, the so called majority, didn't protest against the mosque. We didn't even care. It's the politics that made things complicated, like it always does. The verdict shouldn't harm the secular democracy which is the essence of India. Our diversity is our strength, we shouldn't do or talk in a manner that may make the minorities feel oppressed. We don't care if it's a mosque or a temple. My judgement would be to erect a temple beside that mosque. I have Muslim friends and I regard them as my brothers. I have respect for all religions because I believe they are all the same. In a secular country such as India, we should limit religious issues within our personal life. Religion should, in no way, affect our public life and alienate our Muslim brothers. Thanks.
God bless you.

I strongly support you. In my state the religious disputes are comparatively small although its rate increase in recent time. But it is more related to terrorist activities. In my place there are mosque where hindu go before going sabarimala. Also people are not separated by religion. The reason is there is less influence in our state for parties with political interest. Even though there are some they have influence in say one or two Panchayat.
